Jacob Imo‑Abasi – Director

Jacob is a renowned chartered accountant, policy adviser, and enterprise development specialist with a distinguished career spanning over four decades. As a Director of Omega Butler Marginal Fields Limited (OBMFL), he brings a robust combination of financial acumen, economic planning, and corporate governance.

He founded his own consultancy, Imo‑Abasi Jacob & Co, which has played a pivotal role in reforming corporate management practices across Nigeria. His contributions have positioned him as a bridge between public sector innovation and private sector enterprise.

Currently, he is the Managing Director and CEO of AKICORP (Akwa Ibom Investment Corporation), where he spearheads the state’s investment strategy, privatization programs, and youth entrepreneurship initiatives. He also served for nine years as Chairman of IbomAir, a leading regional airline, and in 2023, he was appointed Acting Chairman of Champion Breweries Plc.

His board engagements span several industries, including roles at Anchor Insurance, Ibom Hotels & Golf Resort, and Akwa Savings & Loans. At the Ibom‑LED Centre, he continues to mentor entrepreneurs and support business incubation.
